Our
Philosophy, simply put is that if the accident was not
your fault your inconvenience should be kept to an absolute
minimum. To that end, if as a result of the accident, your
vehicle is rendered legally un-drivable we will provide you
with a 'like for like' replacement as soon as possible.
In the vast majority of cases prestige works to the
guidelines agreed with vehicle manufacturers and the BVLRA
- typically these do not exceed 6 months of 15000 miles.
In
accordance with the BVLRA's strict 'code of conduct' all
our vehicles are cleaned before delivery an go through as
series of checks before they are deemed 'ready to hire':
Check fluid and oil
Check boot-spare tyre, tools and jack
Check tyre wear
Clean interior
Clean exterior
Clean windows
Empty ashtrays
Check all accessories are operational
Check lights, brakes, steering and wipers
In
the unlikely event that you are involved in an accident you
should do the following:
Obtain as much information as possible by completing the
'accident report form' in your pack - if you do not have
this with you at the scene of the accident then at least
obtain the following:
The other drivers name, address, telephone number and
insurance details
Detail of any witnesses
Time and place of accident
Police reference numbers if they attend

Prestige vehicles are covered by the RAC or AA. In the
unlikely event that your Prestige replacement vehicle
should suffer a mechanical breakdown then contact the number of the relevant breakdown service provider as seen on your
windscreen and quote the vehicle registration. If you have

All penalty charges incurred by you during the duration of
the hire period are payable by you upon demand. A £25 administration charge will apply.
